TDC Welcomes Three New Board Members

As a private not-for-profit organization, TDC is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of prominent business people from across the region. This summer TDC welcomed three new members to our Board of Directors, Chris Demers, Michelle LeBeau, and Dr. Alexander Enyedi. These three individuals bring a breadth of knowledge and expertise to our organization and we are happy to have them.

Here’s a brief spotlight on each of our newest board members:

Chris Demers is Vice President of Adams Glass. When he’s not busy working, you can find him running his three kids around to various sports practice or attending their games. When the sun is out, if he is not cheering on his kids on the field you can find him with his family on their boat. Chris has been in the commercial construction industry for 20 years. His favorite part about his job is being a part of a job well done, seeing the fruits of his labor in all the buildings that he has worked on in and around town. When asked to share what he is looking forward to most about joining TDC’s Board of Directors, he commented, “I am excited to become part of a collaborative team of respected individuals within our region. I hope that my experiences and knowledge base can help TDC navigate future endeavors.”

Michelle LeBeau is the President of Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital and Alice Hyde Medical Center. The most rewarding part of her job is the opportunity she has to continually problem solve and working to best support patients and hospital staff. When she is not working, she enjoys a slower pace, spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs as well as traveling to new places. Michelle is looking forward to meeting new people through her involvement with the board and learning more about TDC’s role in the community.

Dr. Alexander Enyedi is the President of SUNY Plattsburgh. As a member of TDC’s Board of Directors, Dr. Enyedi is looking forward to collaborating with local business and education leaders to build the prosperity of the North Country. He will serve as a bridge between SUNY Plattsburgh and TDC and is excited to be a partner in shaping the future of our wonderful region. On campus, Dr. Enyedi can be found walking around college grounds conversing with students and faculty about why they are passionate about SUNY Plattsburgh. These impromptu conversations are Dr. Enyedi’s favorite part about his job. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time hiking and working on his photography and aviation hobbies. A lesser-known fact about Dr. Enyedi is that he is a licensed pilot. Beginning flight lessons when he was 16 years old, he became a licensed pilot at age 17. Currently, he holds a private pilot license (in both US and Canada) with a float/seaplane endorsement and an instrument rating.

TDC is excited to welcome these multi-faceted individuals on to our board and look forward to their contributions to the organization.

TDC’s board of directors plays a large role in the success of the organization. Their leadership has helped to shape TDC into what it is today – helping hundreds of businesses grow and expand in the greater Plattsburgh region. The board of directors is composed of prominent business people from across Clinton County. If you’d like to learn more about this group, contact us at
