Two new companies to create 33 jobs

Empire State Development has formally approved two new Start-Up NY companies for SUNY Plattsburgh and Clinton Community College.

Insum Solutions Corp. earned its designation through SUNY Plattsburgh and is located in Redcay Hall on campus.

The Montreal-based firm offers professional services to clients to develop Oracle business applications.

It has committed to invest $55,000 and create 16 jobs.

Prelco U.S. Inc., which earned its status through Clinton Community College, opened in Rouses Point earlier this year.

The company is based in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, and specializes in glass products for commercial and industrial architectural structures, transportation equipment and military applications.

It has committed to invest $425,000 and create 17 jobs.
