TDC Construction Update – August 2020

Construction is in full swing on Industrial Boulevard. TDC’s newest buildings, an office space for TDC staff and a 60,000 SF industrial spec building, are finding a new home on the former Clinton County Airport.

The site of these two new buildings is set to be the future of industrial and manufacturing growth in the region, thanks to the planned infrastructure expansion project funded by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and contributions from Clinton County, the Town of Plattsburgh, and TDC.

“We are confident that building won’t be empty for long”, remarked TDC’s President and CEO David Champagne. “There has been a steady increase in demand for space both with our current tenants and companies who are new to the region.” TDC currently owns and maintains seventeen industrial buildings with occupancy rates hovering just below 100%. Investing in infrastructure for business aligns with TDC’s mission to create and retain quality jobs and investments in the community.

Members of TDC’s board of directors took a tour of the construction site in the middle of July to see the exciting progress on the property.
