37 Arizona Avenue is home to a new 60,000 SF industrial space, currently inhabited by Vapor Stone Rail, A Wabtec Company.
The building was constructed as part of a program from New York State. TDC invested $3 million in the construction of a 60,000 SF industrial building. The construction was part of a $38 million capital commitment from the State of New York to expand the airport and continue to renovate facilities at the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base.
The building features 24’ ceilings, ample 9’x9’ loading docks and drive-in doors, and Class A office space. Built to be able to support three different tenants, there are three separate entrances into the space.
Vapor Stone Rail has been operating in Plattsburgh for many years. With the construction of this building, they were able to expand their operations from their existing facility, creating many new jobs and expanding opportunities in Plattsburgh. Vapor Stone Rail employs a variety of positions from assembly, to procurement, to engineering.
A significant part of the transportation cluster in the North Country, Vapor Stone Rail Systems is the leader in the design, development, prototyping, manufacturing, and distribution of door systems for metros, and air conditioning system accessories for commuter trains and passenger trains.
