Plattco is a shining example of the way New York State’s Regional Economic Development Council program is designed to work, officials say.

New York State Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul visited the company this week to announce the company qualified for $50,000 in Excelsior Tax Credits.

Plattco President Doug Crozier said the company intends to use the credits to offset costs associated with a $300,000 project to replace its foundry furnace. “We are pleased New York has programs like this to support companies like ours,” he said.
