Barbara J. Shute first came to The Development Corporation on a part-time basis in winter 2007. She was hired on a full-time basis in summer 2008 and is responsible for managing, organizing, scheduling and maintaining information for the senior staff of the corporation.

Prior to joining TDC, Ms. Shute served as the Emergency Services Coordinator/Administrative Assistant for the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross since 2001. Before entering the Administrative field, she received her Licensed Practical Nurse certification from North Country Community College and worked as a LPN providing service to pediatric patients in the homecare setting for 7 years.
